Lightweight

Lighter than other full-size Dyson uprights and rotating on a ball instead of wheels, the DC41 is extremely maneuverable. This new ball is more compact, houses more central components placing more weight at the base of the vacuum to aid in stability and keep the center of gravity low, and makes cleaning around edges and tight spaces easier. Steering the DC41 Animal is much easier than a traditional vacuum cleaner that rests on four wheels. Standard four wheeled vacuums can only steer in one direction, while the DC41 rolls and pivots on its ball with the twist of your wrist, making obstacles simple to vacuum around. The DC41 also brings the newest cyclonic technology from Dyson, Radial Root Cyclone Technology. Like all previous Dyson cyclone vacuums, the DC41 guarantees no loss of suction throughout its lifetime. The radial root cyclone technology maximizes the vacuum’s 235 air watts of suction power and as mentioned previously, this suction power is delivered directly to the cleaner head and concentrated here while the vacuum is in use.
